Kim et al., 2018 — Journal of Medicinal Food
In a 12-week double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial published in Journal of Medicinal Food (Kim et al., 2018), 90 obese adults received either placebo, low-dose BNR17 (1 billion CFU/day), or high-dose BNR17 (10 billion CFU/day — the same dose in BNRThin Slim+). The high-dose BNR17 group showed a statistically significant reduction in visceral adipose tissue (the metabolically active fat surrounding internal organs) compared to placebo: −21.6 cm² difference, P = 0.012. Waist circumference was also significantly reduced in both BNR17 groups versus baseline.
